"Un conte de Noël" ("A Christmas Tale")

Finally released in my area. Just a tad overrated. And definitely a bit too long. But definitely worth a watch. And terrific performances all around. I wasn't aware of the subject matter, but it wasn't heavy handed at all. I really enjoyed watching these characters. This is what the rancid "Dan in Real Life" should have been.

I've heard positive things about this one - glad to see Catherine Deneuve still acting. Here's the trailer.

'rancid' is an overstatement.

I thought the casting seemed a bit 'Hollywood-esque' in let's see who we can cast 'A-list French actors' in this Christmas film. The twins were utterable adorable.

I thought the film generally was entertaining, but no where as good as 'Kings and Queens'

Is this movie doing well at the box office? I don't know anyone who has seen it.
