I just placed my order at OLDIES.com for Volumes 2 and 3 of The Hitchhiker, the HBO show, for $16.67 shipped. Like many of you, I picked up Vol. 1 for $2.99 at Big Lots earlier this year. However, the other two volumes haven't been cheap--until now.

I ordered from oldies 4 times and all 4 times i received the package damaged. Some DVD cases were torn apart and broken all DVDs were popped out from their holders and were scratched. I'll say just be careful about that great deals but their CS is pain in the neck. Return process is like hell.

I wish the commentaries were on the full season releases. I have the complete first and third seasons. Still need to pick up season 4. God only knows why season 2 hasn't had an official full season release yet.

I've ordered from Oldies.com two or three times. No issues with damage. Packaging was fine. Only one floater, and that's the luck of the draw.

There are some that can't stand DeepDiscount because of damaged packaged. I've never had an issue with them either. Maybe it's the postal service?

I had a package show up empty from DD (stamped "found this way" kinda thing on it from USPS).

They immediately sent me a replacement, no problem...no trouble with oldies tho personally.

I don't want to turn this into a "store forum" thread, but I have to agree about the CS. I am still waiting on an exchange for a DVD I bought almost a month ago. They told me the replacement finally shipped, but it has been 5 business days already and I haven't seen it. The prices are terrific, there's no doubt, but pray you don't get a floater, like I did.
