Close???

Even with the pathetic Aussie dollar I caved - Bluray be damned, $8 per movie can't be ignored

Cheers

I've already got the 4 volumes on DVD but I really want to put them in that black box. Anyone willing to part with theirs?

Sheesh. I paid ~$140 for the four boxes at Costco perhaps a year ago. I figured $7 each for two-disc restored flicks was a good deal. What really sucks is that I've only watched the first two. I'd planned on watching one a week in order and just moved to other things.

I picked up all four sets last November for about $18 a piece at Circuit City. This is not a bad deal though.

Me too--and in keeping with my usual timing on DVDs (why do I keep buying them...), I haven't watched one movie from the sets one year later. It's nice having them, though of course now I would have waited and perhaps bought the blu-rays.

I couldn't resist getting this one at this price. It's dead now (up to $202.99)

If you don't mind waiting a few days, I'll answer the question for you.
