$98? pffftt!! You call that a deal? That's about $72 more than I paid for them a few months ago! (thanks to this forum)

I was wondering how long it would take for some fool to reference the bestbuy screw up. Answer: not long at all.

$16/season. Good enough for me. I already spent $422 at DD/DVDP yesterday though. Damn you, Amazon!

Somebody had to do it. I thought, "why not me?"

Props to you! That whiny Nancy Kerrigan could learn a couple things from you.

This could be a problem. The 2nd disc of season 1 in my set has some slight scuff marks despite being handled carefully (factory/packaging defect?). My player reads the disc alright, but my father's player went apeshit trying to play. I thought about sending the season back for replacement once we both get done watching it, but the 6 season set is considered 1 item on the order. I'm not sending back all 6 sets! I guess I could make myself a backup of the problem disc and forget about it. I've gone that route with floaters and movies I've bought used in the past.

You could always order season one by itself. When the new set comes switch out the discs and send back the faulty one for a refund.

I've had great luck contacting the studio and getting replacements for a single disc from a set.

How bout getting replacement packaging? The old cardboard-plastic fold out shit is falling apart on me as I watch each season.

I've never had to do this. I take the discs out of the case once and store them in sleeves. The cases sit on the shelf untouched from then on. If there's something important on the sleeve or fold out part, I scan/copy it and put it in the sleeve with, quite often, a custom cover.
