Highest grossing movies in the U.K.

With "Mamma Mia!" still in the UK Top 10 this week, it could easily pass "Titanic" in the next two or three weeks. Unbelievable!

I seem to remeber seeing a UK-specific Adjusted for Inflation list that had the top grossing film in Britain as being Spring in Park Lane - a virtually forgotten musical romance from the 1940s starring Michael Wilding and Anna Neagle.

Funny folks, the Brits.

Cats & Dogs is at #71? Over such movies as Transformers, WALL-E, Lion King, and Toy Story? I'd honestly forgot that movie even existed.
