I received the postcard on Monday via USPS as well, although I knew about the Black Friday promotions beforehand.

Rocky & Bullwinkle and Friends: Complete 1st Season $5.99 after using today's 40% off coupon. They also had the 3d season, which I'll go back for on Sunday with the 50% off coupon. (I didn't see the 2d season.)

I finally got the coupons last week via e-mail and am heading that way shortly.

Funny, docdoowop you mentioned the Rocky & Bullwinkle sets. I'd seen them in the Half Price Stores before. Getting ready to place my DVD Planet order and I have them in my cart...figured I'd wait to pull the trigger until I checked HPBS again to see if I could get 'em cheaper.

By the way, I'd recommend signing up to get these coupons via e-mail. While I haven't tried using more than 1 at a time at the register, I have printed out extra copies to hand to others and have used some more than once hitting a couple of different stores, etc.

I haven't gotten any through mail or email. Probably for the best, I don't need to be spending any more money at the moment.

WTK posted a scan of the coupons earlier in the thread...I'm guessing you could print them out and they'd probably work.

Not that you need to spend more money, but in case you wanted to...

I went in yesterday, and found several titles I wanted. But I was a cheap bastard and rolled the dice that the titles I want will still be there on Sunday for 50% off. I will probably regret it...

Traditionally, HPB usually has a 20% off sale right after Christmas (but that is a ways off).

When I dropped by my nearest location yesterday, one of the salesgirls was offering the one-item 40% off to any customer in exchange for an email address/registration in-store. She may have been going rogue or something (or just being super nice!), but with the newer coupons lasting into the weekend (30% Wed/Thurs, 20% Fri/Sat & the Sunday-only 50%), it might be worth asking around the staff if you're without a physical coupon (YMMV, of course).

Shoot, I just happened to be in the Dayton, OH Half Price Books today but I wasn't hip to any coupons. Anyway, for $5.98 I did pick up a factory sealed cheesy fun "At The Earth's Core -MGM "Midnite" movie I have wanted- http://www.amazon.com/At-Earths-Core-Doug-McClure/dp/B00005O06Z/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1226528627&sr=1-1
I noticed they also had a lot of Big Lots good stuff but higher priced like "Guys and Dolls Deluxe" for $10.00 and Sabata Trilogy $14.98 and Pam Grier Fox in a Box(forget the price, I think $14.98) So who knows, with a good coupon maybe those prices would be tolerable to someone who can't get them at their Big Lots...

Awesome!

Is there a way to isolate the 50% off coupon only so I can print that one? No need to waste ink. Thanks to anyone who helps!

Do they have unique codes? Or is this something that we will see in the store? There were some items the last time i stopped in I wanted but these coupons would let me get them.

Re: Upcoming Half Price Books promotions

if they are like the last ones then they are not unique. Is there a part on the website to print them out as per last time?
