Night of the Living Dead 40th Anniversary
Seeing as how there are a lot of zombie fiends here (myself included), I figured that some might be interested in PopMatters' series of articles this week commemorating the 40th anniversary of Night of the Living Dead: http://www.popmatters.com/pm/special...h-anniversary/
Each day they are posting 5 articles about the movie, with a short intro by George Romero kicking things off today.
I've got a whole lot of downtime at work this week, so this came at a great time for me.
Besides the recently reissued DVD, are there any other places/things - on the internet or otherwise - recognizing the film's anniversary?

This past weekend in St Louis at the Kitbuilders Monstrous Weekend I met John Russo, Russ Steiner, Bill Hinzman, Kyra Schon, Charles Craig, and Judith O'Dea. They were all nice as could be. George was suppose to be there but he cancelled because of his Diary sequel. I couldn't stay for the panel but it was loads of fun. I also met Dee Wallace, Adrienne Barbeau, and Tom Savini.

The only people returning from Diary are the National Guardsmen who robbed the RV and the blonde who drove off.

You're welcome, guys. I go to PopMatters every day - mainly to read their CD reviews - and was surprised that they are devoting the week to NotLD.
That sounds like a cool time.
It takes place on an island. We talked about it a little on the last page of this thread: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/movie-talk/...iary-dead.html
