I have been Googling relentlessly to find any reviews for this TV or any of the 540U series, but haven't had much luck. Does anyone here own this model, and care to share their thoughts or point me in the direction of some reviews. Thanks!

Thanks! I am starting to get a better idea of what to expect from this set. Best Buy, Circuit City and Tweeter don't have any display units that I can get an idea of what it really looks like (although I'm sure it would need calibration anyway.)

I pulled the trigger on this TV from Vann's through Amazon.com for $1699 with free shipping and no tax. It will be delivered on monday and I can't wait! It's got everything I wanted - 52", 1080P, 120hz, and 4 - 1.3 HDMI ports. The only thing I am worried about is the semi-matte screen. The reason I stayed away from the Samsung TOC sets is because of the gloss screen. Plus, with that price, I could not pass it up!

You could go blind from that.
