I wonder if this coupon will stack with the $5 coupon that many people got from the Journey to the Center of The Earth Fiasco.....

Family Video

Not familiar with this site. Are they previously viewed? They seem too cheap to be true for new DVDs.

They are a reputable site and have some pretty good deals sometimes.

They sell both. It is pretty clear on the site which are new versus used. Used titles have the word (USED) in their title.

Have ordered several new and used titles from them over the past few months. No problems, great service so far, recommended.

Also of note, they charge your card when you place the order. They do not wait until they ship the product.

Has anyone ordered the mystery DVDs before? I was wondering if there was anything good that they gave out.

Applied the coupon to a used copy of the first Futurama "movie," which comes in a fairly flimsy cardboard thing with the disc stuck into a slot. Family Video shipped it in an unpadded plastic bag. Needless to say it arrived pretty much flattened. What have people's experiences been with complaints about condition with this place? I don't see that they have any more copies of this used on their site, but I may decide to ship it back for a refund.

By the way, my one mystery DVD was Terminator 3 in fool screen. It would have been nice to get some title I'd never heard of, but I guess it doesn't make any sense to complain. It seems like one or both of the discs are rattling around loose, which I hope won't make it harder to unload this puppy in a brick-and-mortar used DVD store, which I'd planned to do.

^ ElCambio, I haven't had the exact same experience as you (condition of DVD), but I have contacted Family Video by e-mail on multiple occasions and found that they respond pretty quickly. Their customer service has also impressed me. I'd send 'em a note explaining your problem and my guess is that they'll take care of you somehow.
