Target Prices: October 19 - October 25, 2008

HI DVDTalkers!

Got the Target circular for 10/19/08 - 10/25/08 in my hands.

Please be aware of the following:
  • All New Release CD / DVD prices listed are advertised as Available Tuesday 10/21/08
  • Suspected Low Price is listed in parentheses
  • Sony 100 Pack CR-R discs >>>> $13.99
  • GAMERS: The Wii Gaming System is NOT listed in this week’s ad ….. Sorry!
  • From time to time special deals / prices will be listed in the Store Notes Section & the in the product price thread that may or may not be available in your specific geographic area. This is due to Regional Market Variations of the nationwide ads that I post and as such, not all deals / prices will be available in all Target stores. Please note that this version of the Target ad originates in the Northeast.

As always, ask any questions (except about laptops) and I'll respond as soon as I can.

Sorry for delay. I’ve been hobbled by the FLU. >>>>> Speedy1961

I'm interested in what the 2-disk Hulk packaging looks like. The regular packaging is kinda lame.

I can't wait for my Iron Man/Hulk double feature.

I don't post often, but I wanted to say thanks Speedy!!!!

Hi Elpresidentepez!

What's pictured is a brick wall from which you can see the hulk's fingers poking through.

It appears that brick wall slides open from the center with one side going to the left and the other going to the right so that it appears that the Hulk is forcing his way through.

I wonder how big the script and poster is for Family Guy Vol. 6 and if it will be worth the extra $3?

Damn you Target and your exclusives!

Feel better Speedy!

Thanks for all your hard efforts man, even with the flu.

Does it mention if the Incredible Hulk Green-rays also have the exclusive packaging?

so the slipcase is similar in effect to one of the "40 Year-old Virgin" releases (hairy chest, then shirt back and forth)?

The Incredible Hulk: 2 Disc Deluxe w/Digital Copy
Any possibility this is the 3-disc version I've seen at Amazon and f.y.e. (online)? Is the 3-disc the standard "special" edition, or are there both 2- and 3-disc sets?

It is a 3 disc set in that it comes with 2 standard DVDs + 1 discs with digital copy.

Thanks Speedy! Looks like i'm gonna head for your CC and BB ads for the same week. Just need to see all the different BD versions before making a decision. Oh, also thanks for the early Iron Man info, got the Target's Masked edition (BD), very nice (almost sold out too).

I wish someone would do that for EVERY major release every week. Right now, when there's a major summer movie hitting each week, it's hard to scour all the ads to determine who has the best bonuses.

(yes, I know there's the "All store exclusives and freebies" thread, but it's much easier to compare when they are compiled by movie like this, instead of by store.)

although half of me agrees with your sentiment, the evil half actually likes scouring through newspaper ads, online ads, dvdtalk, et al.
