Are digital copies included on blu-ray discs when standard DVD releases contain them?

Are digital copies included on blu-ray discs when standard DVD releases contain them?
Specifically, I'm wondering about Forbidden Kingdom and Speed Racer. I want them on blu-ray but taking them along for the kids is an option with the digital copy and I'm not buying both standard AND blu-ray. Just curious. Anyone know?

Digital Copy = for iPods, Computers etc. Its not an ACTUAL DVD that can be played in a DVD Player (with the exception of Sleeping Beauty which is including the DVD). But yes, Speed Racer includes a digital copy...not sure about Forbidden Kingdom.
