I am sitting 8 feet from my 46" TV is that ok?
I just moved into a new condo from my apartment, and I had the move the TV a little closer to my viewing area. I have a 46" flat panel Samsung 1080P. At my apartment I had the TV about 10 feet away, worked great. Now I had to move it closer to 8 feet away.
Is this ok? Well its going to have to be as I can move it any farther, I just have been used to viewing it farther away, feels weird.
Thanks for the input

I'm not much farther from my Samsung 46" LCD flat panel. Your fine. And some will argue that it is good you got 1080p for sitting that close.
And just as a comparison, in my theater room, by 1st row of seating is about 10.5 feet for a 94" front projector image. On SD Dish, I think it is just a little close and usually move to the back row. But for Dish HD, Blu-Ray, HD DVD and even a quality SD DVD in my A3, the front row hold up well and looks good. That my PJ is "only" 720p.

Great input, thanks guys.
Comcast TV has taken a little getting used to as like I mentioned I used to sit about 10' back, but now that I have begun to watch some HD DVD's and BD's, I am really liking the viewing distance. I feel more "in" the movie, and Batman Begins especially felt and looked great.
Good news that it worked out, while my condo isn't that big, I am glad it worked out for the viewing distance, I would hate to have to totally re-arrange the whole place
