So, I've been saving up my pennies for the new Pioneer Elite Blu-Ray player (which, I believe, is still scheduled to be released in the States the second week of August?), but now I'm starting to wonder if/when I'm gonna be able to get it.

I was asking around at Best Buy, Future Shop and Bay/Bloor Radio lately and it doesn't seem to be on any of their radar as an upcoming available product. BayBloor Radio told me they didn't think they'd bother carrying it even if it did become available (!).

Any Canucks aware of when this is supposed to retail up North? And which stores are going to carry it?
