I've been keeping my eye on this for months now.

It's supposed to be released tomorrow (May 27th) but no stores I spoke with are expecting it.

Major disappointment because I'm a HUGE fan.

Anyone have any info on it?

Sounds like it hasn't gotten approval from the label yet.

Well that's disappointing. I expect at some point the label will remix it to their liking and it will be "marketable" but it will be crap. Hopefully Shirley pulls a Trent Reznor and her vision of these songs wind up "leaked" on the net somewhere.

I would love to hear this. Shirley has a great voice. Too bad she can't release it on her own label.

Although the same applies to Hope Sandoval and Beth Gibbons, and their solo albums were disappointing.

I'm expecting this album the same time I'm expecting the Zach De La Rocha solo album. Sigh, I'd love to hear this. But I think it's gonna end up in label hell forever. She's got some great contributors on there like Billy Corgan & whatnot. Hope I'm wrong though.
