I just bought this place and the Sony plasma is mounted

I have the remote, but I can see behind the TV to identify the model..anybody know how to identify the model in the on screen display?

I know its a Bravia and its says it has "WEGA GATE" on the remote..but when I pushed the WEGA GATE it says it is not avaiable on this TV.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you provide a picture that's wider and from farther away?

Pretty sure that would be an LCD if it says Bravia. Get a little mirror and flashlight to see behind the TV. Try your wife's compact. Or a DVD.
