Not much surprise this weekend. Horton iis holding up well and the Tyler Perry movie is going to open strong with a low 20 million opening in line with other Perry films.
I think this might be the first time in my movie-going life that I have not seen a movie in the top 15. I have little to know idea about most of these titles and am not interested to find out more. The bank Job looks good but that seems to not be doing terribly well. oh well.....

Same here. I haven't seen one of those films, although I might see Doomsday because I've heard it's big dumb fun.

I've just seen Spiderwick...liked that one quite a bit and will go see Horton this weekend but I cannot recall the last time I have only seen one movie in the top fifteen (and I try to go to the movies at least once a week, generally more).

I've seen Drillbit Taylor, Doomsday and Semi Pro.

Doomsday was the best of the bunch. A complete throwback to eighties exploitation films.

Drillbit Taylor was good, but could've been (a lot) better especially considering the talent involved with the cast and crew.

Semi Pro has a great comedic cast that was wasted on a terrible script and even worse direction. The film's few best moments came from scenes that were most likely improvised right there on the spot.

The Bank Job is actually very good-the best film on the list.

I went to the dollar movies last night and they said Doomsday would be there in two weeks so I'll just wait to see it at the buck theaters.

Your kidding about the Bank Job not doing well right??? I has had the lowest drops over the last two weeks than any other film, and it is only playing in about 1600 theaters. Lionsgate is foolish for not expanding this, it has had great legs and reviews so far...

Drillbit looks stupid to me. i can't put my finger on why but I think i'm bored of Owen Wilson's slacker/stoner schtick.
