Movies where you agreed with the villan?

Have there been movies where you agreed with the villan or the cause he was supporting? I was watching the Bourne Ultimatum and realized I totally agreed with the idea that Bourne was trying to expose.

Spoiler:
I don't see a problem with there being a secret govt agency that has trained killers that are out there to take out terrorists and bad guys without having to go through all the govt red tape. It actually sounds like a good idea (and I'm sure it exists). In addition, Jason Bourne volunteered to be a trained killer. In the flashback, they seemed to show that Bourne understood how he was giving up his life for his country and he was fine with it.. Now he is pissed?

Do you have any examples?

Probably need to keep this thread with spoiler tags.

He tried to kill a presidential candidate. Plus he took the law into his own hands and was very clearly insane.

I'll agree that he's an anti-hero has most of his ideas make sense to a point. Eventually though, he gets shown as a real bad guy.

Agreed.. I think his idea of wanting to clean up the city was noble, but his methodology stunk

The Untouchables

I find it tough to actually pull for Elliot Ness and his "Untouchables" because they were trying to enforce the ridiculous alcohol Prohibition laws of those times. Although Al Capone was a violent thug, but it was him and other guys like him that made Prohibition a complete failure that eventually lead to its repeal. If Elliot Ness and guys like him had succeeded instead, alcoholic beverages would still be illegal to this day.

Spoiler:
Well, you do have the fact that the very first people Jason was sent to kill (Neski and his wife) had done nothing wrong, and were simply being killed by Conklin and Abbott in order to enrich themselves.

John Malkovich character... 'In The Line Of Fire'...

Mitch Leary: Think about it Frank. The same government that trained me to kill trained you to protect. And now you're trying to kill me while up on that rooftop I protected you.
Mitch Leary: Frank, you of all people, I want you to understand because we both USED to think this country was a very special place...
Frank Horrigan: You don't know what I used to think!
Mitch Leary: Oh, but you know about me? Do you have any idea what I've done for God and country? Some pretty FUCKING HORRIBLE things! I don't even remember who I was before they sunk their claws into me!
Frank Horrigan: They made you into a real monster, right?
Mitch Leary: That's right and now they want to destroy me because we can't have monsters roaming the quiet countryside, now can we?

Titanic - I actually yelled at Billy Zane's character to shoot Rose and Jack, and then started cheering when immediately afterward he started shooting at them.

John Travolta in Swordfish. Make terrorism so unthinkable that no one would ever consider it.

I loved Inside Man.

Catwoman in Batman Returns wasn't really a bad villian.
