Milestone Shooting Collection for Wii (includes cancelled GC game: Radio Allergy)
Chaos Field, Radio Allergy and Crow (Karous), three shmups for the price of one!
http://www.famitsu.com/game/coming/1213680_1407.html
It releases in March in Japan. O3, the publisher for the US version of Chaos Field and who was going to release Radio Allergy before retailers stop taking new GameCube games has expressed interest in releasing this here.
And if not, the Wii FreeLoader is almost here!

What ever happened with this? US release?
I'm itching to play some good shmups, and I'm thinking about spending some Wii points on Blazing Lazers (Compile) along with its Hudson designed Star Soldier follow ons.
Any of you guys played the Hudson shmups from the Turbografx era?

Downloaded Blazing Lazers and made it to the seventh level. It's damn good...challenging, but surmountable.
Super Star Soldier looks gorgeous, but seems to have a larger hit box and slightly less nuanced control...maybe twitchy is the word. It also requires a lot more level memorization than Blazing Lazers, which I don't enjoy.
Compile was so good at these things. Blazing Lazers is just almost as good as Super Aleste (Space Megaforce), and that is really saying something.
