No its not for any of his shit video game adaptations.

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Y6M19uaDaJE&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Y6M19uaDaJE&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

alright, i'll admit, i've become a big fan of Nightwish recently, and while searching their wikipedia page, i found out that he directed the video for this song 'i wish i had your angel', and imo, its quite good, for someone who has very little tallent at all. Apparently this is the 'theme song' for "Alone in the Dark"

I was expecting a picture of Borat with NOT! in giant font, but this is pretty good.

I thought you were being sarcastic. Then I saw the video and I knew you were being sarcastic. Then I read your comment and knew that you weren't being sarcastic.

He's filming the band playing the song in a wet industrial area with flashing lights behind them. How does that take any skill or talent, aside from using music video cliches from the last 20 years? I think you are biased because you like this horrible, horrible band.

Heres his new movie trailer, not based on a video game

That was a pretty standard generic music video, more editing skills than any kind of directing skills. Crane shot, dolly shot, standard shot - mix them all together and VOILA! Instant music video.

This 3 minute video makes up for his pile of crap filmography???

I don't think so.

He cannot direct and he has NO talent.

Just because I'm a war movie nut, I might watch Tunnel Rats....

I've watched 3 Uwe Boll movies, and each one I swore never to watch the next.

Ugh..

What is this? Platoon of the Dead?

This wouldn't even register as a Golan-Globus production.

Nightwish would be better with no vocals, and the video did seem rather generic. Unfortunately, I still watch Boll's films.

I cant believe that i just crapped on twice, in terms of visuals and vocals! One for actually hearing that corny ass song and two because Uwe Boll was responsible for presenting it to me. Bastards!

The flashing lights on that music video was unbearable.

The Tunnel Rats trailer didn't look great but it didn't look Uwe Boll terrible either.

I think it needs to be a DVD Talk rule that whoever starts a Uwe Boll thread to complement him should be suspended for a week.

I will give you that this may be his best work to date. But thats like saying its the smartest kid in special ed. That and it was only 3 min long.

Well, this song is def. less 'cheesy' ('wish i had an angel' had to grow on me, since i hated it too originally)

apparently this song 'nemo' was featured in the end credits of "The Cave". Outside of maybe getting publicity for the band, what indeed does this song have to do with that piece of shit movie. this is actually my favorite song of theirs with the original singer.

Nightwish rocks. I hadn't heard anything with the new singer yet. The lyrics to the first song were corny but the song wasn't that bad overall. Agreed that the direction was standard fare, nothing spectacular.

The second video/song with Tarja was awesome. I'm going to have to see what album that's on. I haven't bought one of their albums in a while.

The only Nightwish song I ever liked was this one after seeing this video.

This thing got stuck in my head for days.

Nemo and wish i had an angel are from "Once", or you can get "highest hopes' which is a best of cd with the original singer. If your looking for samples of the new album, just go on youtube and type in either 'bye bye beautiful' or 'amaranth'

Nice. Although it's really not that hard to make out: Master. Apprentice. Deciple of the WishMaster.
