Anyone Else A Fan Of Southern Comfort?
This underated flick is in my top ten movies of alltime.
It was considered a Deliverance rip-off but IMO,was much better.
This flick had an allstar cast but flopped in the theaters.
I'm sure there are SC fans out there that will back me up!

I love it.. So many great quotable lines. Def one of my faves. I spent 6 years in the Army, and I knew these people. Especially the goofy "instructor got bit by a snake and cut his hand off" guy. Good tension with realistic comic relief.

And Southern Comfort is great, like Deliverance with hints of the cat-and-mouse formula that worked so well with The Warriors. How can you go wrong with Keith Carradine, Powers Boothe, and Fred Ward as the leads?

It tastes really good mixed with Dr. Pepper.

I like it a lot but I don't think it's in the same league as Deliverance.
But I'm also a big Walter Hill fan, when he's on (when he's off, he can be pretty stinky). Favorite: Streets of Fire. It's unique.
