Question about buying a 360

I'm thinking about picking up a "Go Pro" version of the 360. Should I be concerned about possibly getting a repackaged Premium with a "Go Pro" sticker slapped on the side? It seems like the actual "Go Pro" version has a white box, while the Premium has a green one.

Thanks!

The Go Pro package IS just the Premium 360 with a new name.

The Core/Arcade is the one in the green box.

Wasn't there some question about getting a less recently-manufactured system if you get a rebranded Premium rather than a Pro? That's really what I'm concerned about.

There was a way to check on the UPC which version it is. I believe it had to do with its power consumption. I don't have a link handy though.

I doubt it. The Pro has HDMI and is branded as such on the box. They couldn't exactly throw in a non HDMI Premium into the newly branded box.

This thing is LOUD. I really realized it when I was playing Oblivion last night with the volume down since my girlfriend was sleeping. When I was done and turned it off, you could really hear the dead silence.

Even she commented on it wondering what that loud noise was. It really is terrible.

What does that have to do with his question?

Sorry, I'm a new owner, and it just came to my head. I still love the system, and I bought the ProPackin System. It came with HDMI. I didn't know there was a chance you could get a repackaged premium.

I played Ratchet & Clank for four hours the other night and just realized how loud my 60GB PS3 fan is.

There's no cool games coming out for the N64 anymore. What gives?

The old ones show 203w on the sticker.

The new ones show 175w.

No problem.

(I'm in the market for a 360 myself. None to be found around these parts, though.)

The Pro is bizarrely hard-to-find around here, but I've seen tons of arcades and elites.

Yeah, I guess I see Arcades, but since I have no interest in an Arcade, they don't really count to me.

I've got a $500 Best Buy gift card that I'm just sitting on until they get in their next shipment of 175w Elites.

I was successful in getting a 175W Pro, but no Forza or Marvel Alliance. They had a lot of the ones with them, but they had put stickers over the UPC so I couldn't tell if they were 175W or not.

203W for me. Is that why my system is so loud?
