Rumour is the next Bond movie will simply be entitled 007. Any confirmation on this? I personally think it would be cool title for a Bond flick.

It looks like it's goIng the same route as Rocky Balboa and Rambo so why not just call it "JAMES BOND".

I think that would only work if it was the seventh movie in the series, or even the "rebooted" series.

I wonder why nobody bothered to bring out a Bond movie in 2007 if only to capitalize on the 007 part of the year.

I believe Casino Royale was originally scheduled for 2005 so that this next one would have gotten the 2007

Not knowing about your post, I posted a thread about that very question. I think it's worth pondering the lost opportunities. It's like they flunked Marketing 101.

As long as it's not something mega-lame, I don't care what they call it. Casino Royale was fucking awesome and I'm hoping for more of the same from Bond 22. Can't wait.

Filming for this will almost certainly get delayed. I read that Paul Haggis turned in his script just barely before the WGA strike deadline and I assume it's going to need some re-writes.
