Save $5 on $50 at Amazon with Amazon VISA
Received this ad with my Amazon VISA bill today:
Save $5.00 when you spend $50 or more on DVDs at Amazon (must be sold by Amazon, not third party) and use your Amazon VISA. Enter promotional code DVDSAVE5 at checkout. *Enter the code in the final window for it to register.* (Thanks, tofu!)
*edit* Additional info (thanks lizard!): "A few more details: DVDSAVE5 will stack with the 10% discount, for those of us who have it. And the $50 order minimum is before the various discounts get applied. "
*edit* People have thus far been able to use the code multiple times.
Place your order on or before February 7, 2008. Limit one offer per customer.
This is good for DVDs, HD DVDs and Blu-Ray.

Tried ordering:
Disney Treasures Oswald $22.99
Disney Treasures Disneyland $22.99
Taxi Driver $8.99
Total: $54.97
But I get this: "We're sorry, but the promotional code you entered cannot be applied to this purchase. Please refer to your promotional coupon for information about item or store restrictions."
What are the restrictions on this? All the items are in-stock. I'm using my Amazon Visa. Help, before Taxi Driver goes back up.

I got the same error but if you input the code in the final window, then it works without a problem because in the first window where you input the code, it doesn't know that you're using your Amazon Visa yet.
THanks to the OP

I believe this also works with $50 in CDs - I'm not at home but the code might have been CDSAVE5 for that one.
EDIT: coupon code for CDs is BDFCDTNT

Don't know why you couldn't. I've used muliple GCs before along with promotional GC codes. In fact, can't you go back into the order after the purchase and apply an additional GC?

Thought I would bump this since there are some questions popping up in other threads about the coupon. I didn't realize it was multi use. This works great for the latest B1G1 Blu-ray sale at Amazon on multiple orders.
