When was that? I have been wanting to find this at a decent price for awhile for my wife and would have jumped at that price.

Although all of the poor reviews of the set (disc problems) makes me apprehensive at any price.

I think that was the cyber monday two day sale. so that was about 2 weeks ago. Basically all the HBO sets were 60% off or more. Sex and the city set was part of it.

what kinda disc problems are there? picked up the set, the discs were packed nicely. no floaters, no scratches. haven't heard of this problem?

not much of a deal imo. been lots cheaper else where. not sure about the problem with the discs mine play great.

bestbuy.com had it on sale for $79.99 +$2 shipping for the week after black friday. my store was willing to match it for the savings on shipping

Same here... I love my copy of the set. Its very flashy and classy, just like the series... plus its about the size of a text book vs. the almost foot of very chessy/broken cases that the original releases used to take up before I sold them.
