Thank you for the heads up. I have never seen it before but my brother has it and paid like 50.00 at a DD 20% off sale. Wasn't this a 75.00 set a while back.

P.S. This has to be one of the best looking sets around. The tin is awesome.

I asked for a refund on the 44 from amazon but they had already refunded me for when it went down to 32...so they refunded me twice... I saved 30$ on the dvd!

How do you request the refund?

I went through the help links under pricing, and there is a link to contact them on the right side. Then, you can go through your orders, select which order it refers to, then select the item in the order. I just mentioned the Post-Order Price Guarantee and requested that $6.50 be refunded back to my CC.

Are you all sure they're still shipping it in a tin rather than a regular digipack?

I ordered mine during Black Friday, and it arrived in a tin. That wasn't very long ago. I'm pretty sure they'd still be shipping out the tin.

Does someone who has already purchased this know if it has English subtitles? As I have become older my hearing has gone to pot and subtitles help me know just what is being said. Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up. Picked up both Band of Brothers and From Earth to the Moon. Same prices as Best Buy's big sale, but no tax and free shipping.

According to DVD Compare and the back of the box, the set unfortunately has only Spanish subtitles.

It is Closed Captioned though, if that is of any help.

The tin is pictured at Amazon. If it's different, I would think returning it would be easy if it bothers you.

From The Earth To The Moon is cheaper now as well

those two make a good combo as a gift

and even if Band of Bros was in a nice HBO style digipak it'd be totally worth that price, and more.... natch

Best Buy is. At least the Digipak is what's pictured. I'll know come Monday.

I have the discs, only Spanish subtitles there, indeed.
European releases, including the UK one, have English subs for hard of hearing, and the Tin is also on sale, not this cheap, around 34 bucks, on Amazon.co.uk

DVDPacific is also selling a digipack, but they're the first to run out of everything.

Thanks for the info on lack of English subtitles. I can't use closed captioing since I have a projector and, unlike TVs, they don't decode the captioning. Will have to pass on this I guess.

I'm in for one, Thanks.

Hopefully they don't send me a trashed tin like they did with the oldboy dvd set.
