Yes, shipping is steep. However, if you are buying more than 2, then it doesn't go up much. So it might be worth it for 4 or more movies...

I hate stores like this (and F.Y.E. and Buy.com) which only offer 2-day shipping to Hawaii for $19.00 for one DVD. How hard is it to send it First Class Mail or Priority for a reasonable fee?

I know exactly what you mean. The last time I ordered from this place I just had my order shipped to someone from the mainland that I knew was visiting me soon. Amazon.com is the best online store for people from Hawaii.

This WAS in store last week. Not sure if these deals are being carried over from last week, but my local Frys still has the signs up as of yesterday.

Have an associate check it for you. Our store management said the sale was over last Monday, but the prices still ring up to this day.

Yeah, I have no doubt the sale is still going on as I mentioned seeing the signs up yesterday. I have all the movies I would buy from the Fox/MGM and Sony/Disney sale.
