Oh man, I want that monkey head! I missed out on that deal way back from DDD, and this might be even cheaper depending on if they offer free shipping.

It is! I got it in June, 2006 from DDD for $81.80 (free shipping).

Yeah, I remember not getting the DD deal at the time because I was sure it would be cheaper at some point, but then it never was so I figured I chose wrong, but now maybe not.

Jeez! It sold it in seconds! I don't get how that's possible. As soon as the sale went live I added it to my cart but nothing happened! Then my page refreshed saying 96% sold so I clicked "Add to Cart" like crazy and nothing happened and then it said 100% sold. How the heck did I miss out on it? Was there some sort of secret technique I should have utilized to ensure I got it? Damn... sucks... Oh well, that big head would have never fit on my shelf anyway. Hopefully the POTA people will do the same thing the Battlestar Galactica people did when they released the giant Cylon head and re-release the series in better, smaller packaging. Argh!

Good point, I just can't see that there was that big of an interest in this set unless they only had like 5 of them for sale. I mean I seriously was staring at the little countdown timer and hit "add to cart" as soon as it appeared.

The printer mentioned previously apparently went in seconds as well. Kind of adds a whole new meaning to the phrase lightning deal, eh?
