Thanks for posting, though honestly there isn't much in there worth dealing with the crowds. I'm basically skipping all BF sales this year.

Word of warning, this is Wal Mart so be prepared that some of those titles might be the Full Screen version...

I went last year. They closed the store around 2 am, then reopened at 5 am. They had the pallets out while the store was open, they just weren't unwrapped yet. So I had a chance to check out the lay out of where everything would be.

I got my prized "Freddy Got Fingered" DVD for $3.44 a couple years ago at Wal-Mart during one of their first big Black Friday DVD sales. Got a bunch more then that I STILL haven't watched yet, and will probably pick up a few more this time around. Just wish I knew what more of them were as the titles shown don't really interest me; I'm trying not to buy anything on standard DVD that's out on either of the hi-def formats.

I usually work nights but as luck would have it they moved our shift on 11/23 to the morning, so I'll have to get up extra early to hit the sales or hope enough will be left by 5:30.

Not worth standing outside freezing with hundreds of others and then getting trampled just to save a few dollars.

You can see the actual ad on their website now.

I wish they'd show all the titles for the DVD sale instead of saying here's 6, plus there will be 65 more titles.

I recall seeing that some other, more recent seasons of The Sopranos would be ~$30.
edit. Yes, 4-6, part 1 will be.

As someone who is always away at family for Thanksgiving (and they live quite a distance from a nearby Walmart), will these prices be reflected online?

Unlikely. There seems to be a big difference in products found online versus B&M.

Last year they had a selection of $1.88 DVDs - I picked up Wimbledon and The Incredible Hulk.

The price for 24 isn't bad but I already have Seasons 1 through 5. I just need to watch Seasons 2 through 5...

Hey, you're on DVD Spot too, eh? Your link took me to my own collection, though.

Anyway, there were a couple of DVDs up there on the Wal Mart list I might go for, but only if they are still available after I sleep in...

Wow, nothing. Prices nowhere near as cheap as last year with 1.88 DVDs and nothing interesting or good. Illusionist is a nice price, but I can just get that for $8 at Borders on Wed without the hassle of BF at Walmart and I can be sure that it won't be only FS. Walmart's DVDs will probably be FS.

Thanks, abintra. BTW, I checked my copy of Murderball and it didn't have an insert. Mine didn't even have an ad. Just in case you were still asking about that one.
