My wife asked me if I could tell her the name of a movie. All she could tell me about it was that it was about a guy who's in love with a waitress in a diner in L.A. Apparently, there's going to be some sort of nuclear disaster, so this guy has to find the waitress and her grandparents and get them all to safety.

She couldn't tell me anything helpful, like the names of any of the actors or characters. She says she caught it on cable a few times in the early 90s. Knowing my wife, it's probably a cheesy TV movie.

Anyone have any ideas?
