thriller or cop movie reccomendations.

i just got a blockbuster online trial and im only keeping it for a month. anyways i dont follow movies really at all so i have no idea what to get. what are some good thrillers or cop movies that have come out in the past few years. for thrillers i like movies about kidnappings, stalkers, murderers, heists, ect. not supernatural stuff.

I don't know what is about Denzel Washington, but he seems to play in a lot of this type of movie.

Inside Man
Deja Vu
Man on Fire
Out of Time

Insomnia-both versions are good, but the original Norwegian version is better.

Memories of Murder
Tell Me Something
Bloody Ties
Public Enemy
Another Public Enemy
Oldboy
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance

.. if you can deal with some Korean Thriller/Cop films.

I highly recommend all of them.

Manhunter with William Petersen Pre-CSI.

Executive Decision: Excellent Pre-9/11 Hijack thriller with Kurt Rusell, Steven Seagal (in more or less a cameo), Halle Berry

Breakdown: Also with Kurt Russell

Copland. Very underrated movie that has great performances in it and a stellar cast. DeNiro, Keitel, Stallone, Liotta. Get the directors cut, it fleshes out the story a bit more.

I bet you would like The Vanishing.
Get the Criterion which is the original foreign version.
The US remake isn't as good.
