Which movie should I see?

Alright, there's a glut of movies in theatres and I need to know which of these I should see:

Things We Lost in the Fire
Rendition
We Own the Night
30 Days of Night
Into the Wild

I'm not counting anything that is in limited or near-limited release (Jesse James, Lars & the Real Girl) because I will probably see those movies. Just wondering out of those four which one I might like the most.

Here's my ranking of movies for this year: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showpost.ph...12&postcount=1

What do you recommend, DVD Talk?

Into the Wild, hands down. Incredible film. Rendition is not very good. I saw both at Toronto Film Festival. Into the Wild is defitenely your best choice.

definitely go see into the wild first. i saw it today myself and thought it was incredible.

i saw we own the night yesterday and it was good, but not compared to into the wild. plus the eva mendes "nude scene" was nothing.

hopefully i will get to see jesse james this coming week as it is in a theatre near me.

See 30 Days of Night. We ARE in October so why not watch a cool vamp flick?

only seen three of the film listed and I really cant say I enjoyed any of them

Rendition - only for Sargaard's acting the rest is just piffle
30 Days of Night - silly, sleep inducing vampire pic, hated hated the spastic editing
Into the Wild - overrated self indulgent filmmaking.

sorry

I voted that you see all of them and not limit yourself.

Into the Wild is by far the best of the films on your list, and will be a big player in the Oscar races.

I haven't seen any of the movies you listed, but I voted for Into the Wild since that seems to be the popular choice.

Its been a few days and I dont know what you saw, but We own the Night was pretty boring and I enjoyed 30 Days of Night... The others dont interest me so I guess 30 Days would be my suggestion (although Gone Baby Gone was pretty good).

I saw Michael Clayton and Gone Baby Gone already. I think I'll be seeing Into the Wild tomorrow.
