I was going to post Humpty Hump until I saw it was "wackest", not "Wackiest".

Cam'Ron is terrible. Mike Jones, MIMS, Jim Jones, 50 Cent, T.I., Yung Joc, Ying Yang Twins, Ray Cash, all terrible.

The OP in this thread is funny actually, because all 4 of the ones he mentioned were ones that I've been asked to make ringtones from. And have done it, too. I die a little inside each time...

50 Cent is the wackest by far. Totally made up hyped and overrated
Eminem is wack, another made up over hyped and overrated rapper.
More recently since those two havent been heard of in awhile I would say Cam'ron but I dont want to snitch on him

I can't fault X to the Z. He's a good host on Pimp My Ride. But yes, everyone on this list is pretty terrible.
Let's add MIMS to the list too, while we're at it.

Mos Def
Common
Visionaries
Typical Cats
The Roots
Tribe Called Quest
and there are certainly others.
Rap/hip-hop isn't my favorite/preferred genre. But there's quality out there that is good enough to lure someone like me as a fan of their music.

I'll admit there's some quality out there... in hip hop. I was talking strictly RAP, which is terrible. Hip hop is usually pretty mellow. I don't listen to it much anymore, but I used to love The Roots, Jurassic 5, anything Wu-Tang Clan and even Cypress Hill (big surprise).
