your favorite BEATLES solo in a song?

For me, it would have to be the solo in In My Life - the harpsichord-like piano solo invented by producer George Martin at the behest of John Lennon, the composer, who asked Martin to come up with something Bach-like.

Paul's solo in "Taxman"
George's solo in "Something"
Paul, George, and John (I think that's the order) trading solos in "The End"

I'd have to say that my favorite is the dueling solos in The End.

The solo George plays on electric 12-string on "And Your Bird Can Sing" is one of my many favorites. And it's difficult to play, too!

Actually, that's not George, it's Paul and John double-tracked. http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/sh...37#post1231237
But it is great!

My vote also goes to The End.

I thought it was George and Paul.

And "The End" is also a great one!

That's what I was gonna post, so instead I'll vote for whatever the hell's going on in "Tomorrow Never Knows".

Or "Nowhere Man". I love the harmonics at the end.

The guitar solos in "The End" are fantastic. Here's a guy on youtube who does a fine job of it all by himself:

A couple of my favorites are George on Let It Be and Paul on Good Morning, Good Morning. I love them all really.

Good Morning, Good Morning ^^^^^ wow, I thought I was the only one who appreciated that!!!

I also love "Hey Bulldog" (SO EASY looking on a tab, impossible to play) "Girl" (Bass and the guitar outro before bass solo) and the guitar work in "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window" and "Another Girl"
