The Green Berets Reissue

Warners reissued The Green Berets under the John Wayne 100th birthday/anniversary collection banner - and the new DVD packaging states that it is "enhanced for widescreen televisions," (which the previous release was not).

So did they remaster it as an Anamorphic release, or is this an art department screw up (and it wouldn't be the first for Warners)?

From all accounts I've read, the new disk is just a repackaging of the old disk. Since I already own the old disk, I didn't bother getting the new disk so I can't personally vouch for this.

The old disc was also a 'flipper', which means half the film on one side of the DVD, the other half on the flip side. By nice if the new version does away with that nonsense.
