I would say it has alot to do with proper film elements. If the film was not archived properly, then I doubt Paramount would bother releasing it. I don't see them spending money to restore a film such as this... The Image dvd release of "The First Nudie Musical" which was a Paramount film was terrible. The print looked like it had just come from a 42nd St grindhouse. But who knows...just keep your fingers crossed.
