So Hard Boiled is coming in July in a new 2 disc set (see the new Tarantino Dragon Dynasty release info..). Has anybody heard anything about The Killer coming back anytime soon?
For that matter, all of John Woo's movies need a re-release. Better Tomorrow 1 and 2 just went out of print a short time ago.

FWIW, I thought I heard DD was also going to be reissuiing The Killer at some point. Although I could be wrong. Either way, nothing stays OOP forever (even Salo) so I'd say it's a safe bet you'll see it again sooner rather than later.

you can still buy new, in the wrapper, Criterion Collection releases of 'The Killer' on Amazon for like $700 to $900... lol...
i have the 'A Better Tomorrow' 1 and 2 releases on DVD...
got the 'Hard Boiled' on DVD for like $9.44 at Wally World...
i still don't have 'The Killer'... looking forward to it...
i would LOVE to see 'Bullet In The Head' get a proper R1 release...
that is really good... i think it's between that or 'Hard Boiled' for Woo's best?...

I got the HK R0 remaster of Bullet In The Head, it was not what I was expecting at all, but I enjoyed it quite a bit, still, it is no Hard Boiled. HB stands at the head of the class as far as action films go in my world.
