Behind the Mask The Rise of Leslie Vernon out now at WalMart YMMV
For any horror fans interested, picked up "Behind the Mask - The Rise of Leslie Vernon" a full week ahead of street date at WalMart in New Hampshire last night for $14.44.
Comes in a cool fold out slipcase.
The movie itself is fun, but not as good as the Amazon reviews make it out to be. I'd say it's 7 out of 10 stars.
The two main actors (Angela Goethals and Nathan Baese) are really excellent, and Robert Englund is great as always.
Although this is a very fresh idea for a slasher movie, there are times where the script becomes a bit predictable, and any horror fan will see the "suprise twist" coming a mile away.
Even so, the enthusiasm of this independent production and first time director really shine through, so you can forgive some of it's failings and just have a great time going where the movie takes you.

DVD Talk Legend
It wasn't out at my Wal-Mart on Tuesday. I even checked the shelf diagram to see if it was going to be shelved.
