Thanks for DVDTalk, I can't remember when is the last time we have so many hot deals at the same time (as good as Black Friday)

In past two weeks, I approx spent:

$100.00 @ RightStuff Geneon Sales
$50.00 @ Dollar General SCTV sets
$70.00 @ BestBuy Fox TV Set + $10 off coupon

total $620.00

$460 since June 1.

I estimate:

$350 at DeepDiscount (45-50 movies, I think)
$40 at Circuit City (Star Wars Limited Editions, Blood Diamond)
$37 at DVDPlanet (five used movies)
$14 at Amazon (2001: A Space Odyssey)

Not much at all.

All I got from DDD was Digital Video Essentials for $13.xx to calibrate my new TV, and picked up Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang for $5 at Circuity City and The Descent for $10 at Best Buy (I think, may have been target).

So I guess roughly $28.

My DVD buying has slowed a lot, mainly just use netflix these days.

Maybe only $60 this month so far... got a few B1G1 from Columbia House, got Karate Kid collection for $7 due to the Funcash glitch they had/have going on there, and picked up the Fant 4: EE plus Big: EE and Porky's SE from BB (2 for $9.99 + free $5 GC deal).

Completely avoided the DD/DVD Planet sales and the BB Fox TV coupon fiasco.

Close to $500 thanks to DVD Planet and DD. And I think that sounds completely obscene. I really need to cut back.

Spent about $550 on the two 20% sales, grabbing several box sets (Controversial Classics 2, WB Tough Guys, Alice Faye, Ultimate Superman, W.C.Fields 2, Jodorowsky), a few Criterions (Playtime, Third Man, Pandora's Box), some TV (Sliders Season 3, Bosom Buddies) and about 20 other movies.

I've spent upwards of $300 on DVDs in the last 2 weeks.

About $200 at DDD
About $100 at Best Buy

But luckily it coincided with nothing I wanted for Video Games.

I spent all $175 of my store credit plus an additional $60 at DVD Planet (20% off), $20 at Deep Discount (20% off), $40 at Dollar General (SCTV Deal) and $15 today at Best Buy (Pinky and Brain vol 1&2) and all because of excellent deals.

DVDPlanet 20% (3 orders)
$78.00 + $131.00 + $80.00 = $289.00

Amazon (Six Feet Under 60% and one DVD)
$141.00

Amazon UK (Stock clearance)
$90.00 in US.

In total: $520.00

I pretty much blew all my credit money and now down to measly $130.00. I was going to buy a nice widescreen TV or DVD shelves.

Between DD and DVDPlanet, amazon Six Feet Under deal, amazon HD DVD + BD 40% off sale, and amazon B2G1 BD sale way too much. I actively held back and still spent a fortune. It totaled a shade under $330 - Luckily I had over $100 in store credit at DVDPlanet to help keep the tally down.

This year I didn't buy very much from the Deep Discount, mostly because so many other retailers have been having great deals this week. With the $9.99 box sets I got at BB, plus what I ordered from DDD, for all of June I've spent $158.29.

returning my un-opened discs of Superman I: SE at Borders for the corrected Ultimate box set, after a 40% coupon and the aforementioned credit, the difference only came out to 21 dollars. (woohoo)
