Which Christopher Columbus movie gets a R1 release first? CC: The Discovery or 1492
What do you all think? Which 1992 Christopher Columbus movie sees a region 1 release first? 1492: Conquest Of Paradise or Christopher Columbus: The Discovery. As far as I know, Warner has the rights to release CC: The Discovery on DVD and Paramount has the rights to release 1492: Conquest Of Paradise on DVD. Both films tanked at the Box Office during their initial theatrical run in 1992 so the studios might be holding off on releasing them on DVD all together due to the lack of interest generated by the public and since they are considered flops, you have to wonder. 1492: Conquest Of Paradise was directed by Ridley Scott and imo is by far the best Columbus movie yet, the other film CC: The Dicovery really hurt the theatrical run of Ridley Scott's movie. Both films were targeted for release in 1992 to honor the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus discovery of the Americas. So which movie sees a region 1 release first?
