Does anyone know the different in transfer quality in these two Ed Wood sets?

Does anyone know the different in transfer quality in these two Ed Wood sets?
I've seen reviews on this set:

And from what it appears, the transfer is pretty good. Now I wonder, does anyone know how much worse it gets with this cheaper one that just came out a few months ago:

Shouldn't this be in "DVD Reviews and Recommendations" instead? You might find better response there...

I dunno, it's not really asking for a review or a recommendation. I'm talking about DVDs hence the DVD Talk. Whatever though lol.
