I'm have Six Feet Under disc problems

I bought the Six Feet Under Complete Series set last year during the DDD november sale and I'm just now watching it and one of the discs in the fourth season set is pretty scratched up. I don't want to have to beg DDD to exchange it. Does anybody have any ideas as to what I should do? Could I contact someone to replace the individual disc?

Now you say the disc is scratched up but does it still work? If it does i would just say keep it IF it works, if it doesn't I would try contacting DD and see if they will replace it or spend the big bucks and buy the fourth season ind. of Six feet under & hope none of the discs are scratched in that set either (althrough if they are you could just return it to the store).

yea the very same thing happened to me to disc 2 (or is it disc 3) of the same series of the same season. Only differences is that I bought them before the complete set comes out. Fortunately it plays just fine. Great great series.

I got one of the bootleg (asian) complete series of Six Feet on eBay a few months back for $95 (including the shipping). I lucked out - they all play great. It may not be the actual box set out (with the bonus book and whatever else), but it was nice to get a really great deal!

I've actually tried boiling it, twice, and it still freezes up on last episode. I guess I'll try boiling it again.

I had that happen with disk 3 season 2. Totally mangled and unrestorable (although I was able to watch most of it I had to skip a few scenes).

I emailed them at an address found on this site [email protected] and about a month later I finally heard back. They told me I can mail it in, along with their email, and they'd replace it. So just email them and wait.
