I saw this the other day and thought it was okay. I thought surely "How Deep is your Love" by the Bee Gees would be number one, but they didn't even make the list. They showed them in a clip, so it's not as if they forgot about them.

I would have chosen "Africa" instead of "Rosanna" for Toto. "Rosanna" isn't really soft IMHO.

Out of all the Air Supply songs, they chose the one I've heard the least. I would've picked "Every Woman in the World", but that's probably because I've been watching Slither a lot lately.

My wife and I agreed that the the guys in that countdown were ugly as shit. I saw more than a few Geico Caveman lookalikes.

There are some songs on there I like, but I'd have to pick over listening to that list in full.

On the other hand, the live version of "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All" is awesome.

I don't get why people are so hard on the Peter Cetera ballads when it comes to Chicago. Okay, I can see why people would hate them after he left, but the early/mid 1980's Chicago was awesome (yes, I know If You Leave Me Now was 1976, but it was kind of the start of the Cetera-ballad era that really exploded in the 80's). Hard Habit To Break, Hard To Say I'm Sorry/Get Away and Love Me Tomorrow all represent 1980's sappy ballads that :::gasp::: didn't suck and were actually good.

They limited it to one song per artist. It was really more about the artists than the songs themselves.

in that case, the likes of Air Supply, Chicago, The Carpenters, Barry Manilow and the sort should be higher than Christopher Cross, because Cross only had about four or five really big hit singles. You can fill a two-disc set of Manilow hits.
