Severance (2006)

Enjoyable comedy/slasher flick, don't think it lived up to the "The Office meets Friday The 13th" that it was built up to be but it was still quite enjoyable with some very funny moments.

I know some others have seen it on here, but couldn't find a thread and figured I'd start a discussion up now that its playing in the US.

I got the region two DVD some time ago. I thought it was a good flick. The "Office" tag line is really kind of misleading. If I recall right, it was a review line from a British critic that they focused on and decided to try to capitalize on.

A good movie over all....I'd recommend it to anybody who is bored with American "horror" movies.

I saw this August of last year at a private screening and, while it wasn't as awesome as I heard, I found it to be pretty enjoyable. I'm usually not a fan of British humor, so that probably plays a pretty big role in how much I could like the film. I don't think I'll see it in theaters but I'm sure I'll grab the eventual DVD.

I did too (got the region 2 DVD). Bought it the day it came out on Amazon.co.uk based on the user reviews. I really liked it. But yeah, that "Office" comparison is a real headscratcher.

There was a dude that posted after you spamming his Myspace review of the movie, I guess he deleted it, or the mods did.
