"What's that song that goes..." with an incredibly small amout of info...

There was a song that came out in the late 90s that had a number of different remixes. It was kind of techno/pop/alternative I think. Each time I get the name of it on the tip of my tongue it's gone just as quickly. I never bought the CD but now I'm really wanting to hear the song again but I don't know where to look.

So, there's your clue. It is from the late 90s with many different cuts/remixes/etc.

I know it's obscure, and I'll be amazed if anyone can do it from there...

Thanks.

A techno/pop song from the nineties that had remixes?

Yeah, that should be easy to narrow down...

If you can remember even a snippet of a lyric, you can probably search for it:

lyrics "put the snippet your remember here"

I've found a ton of songs that way.

Yeah, this was my fear. And the problem with finding the lyrics is that I just can't recall them. I'll head to BB soon and just look through their catalogue and get back with y'all. I guess I had forgotten about all of the remixes in the late 90s re: J.Lo., Diddy, etc.

Probably easier to just go BB online or Amazon (or many others) where you can at least listen to song samples.

No, I know it's not Gravity Kills. For another clue I don't think the band had any major hits other than this song. I want to say that either the band or the song had the word "Flag" in it.

That's it. Damn. I knew it had pigeon and flag in it, but those were such random words I wasn't even sure I wanted to suggest them as possibilities.

Well, looking at iTunes it's Battle Flag (featuring Pigeonhead) by the Lo Fidelity Allstars.

Cool, thanks. THe Lo Fidelity Allstars is who I was looking for, but it looks like Pigeonhed was a pretty good group from the 90s as well being on Sub Pop records. I'll check that out along with it all.

Thanks again.

That whole album is pretty damned good. Check out "Lazer Sheep Dip Funk".
