He died on April 11, surprised there's no thread on him. One of those familiar faces that everyone knows.

I haven't seen much that he was in, unfortunately, but I loved him on Soap, and in the guest appearances he did on The Cosby Show and Will & Grace. And what a voice!

His most perfect role was that of Mister Nightlinger in the 1972 film 'The Cowboys'. He was absolutely perfect in that part...he'll certainly be missed!

He was in one of the best episode of All in the Family, the one where Archie is stuck in an elevator.

I noticed that too, a sad end to a brilliant career. Although I'm almost tempted to watch that movie, just to hear him narrate it. Almost.
