Used to be that I'd visit the site every day to see if any new sale had started, but now I don't even bother and I miss out on any sale that's not posted here at DVDTalk. DD's site is just too chaotic now.

I've tested it on a couple sales, seems to work. If you can't figure out what the catergoryID is from the first page, try going to the next page. The URL should change to make it clear what you need.

Thanks for the list. Funny thing is that the Warner up to 67% sale has Miramax titles next to the sale banner.

Removing that was a huge mistake; it made it so much easier to shop. Hopefully they'll bring it back...

A secondary use for the list of sales: predictor for when the 20% off sale will start. In the past, all of the ongoing sales will expire just before the 20% off sale begins.

Anyone else suffering from DDDF - Deep Discount Deal Fatigue? Too many different sales for specific categories, too much hassle to even bother trying to dig through.

It would be better for DDD staff to remove all this drama of dozen different deals and give flat discount of 20-35% on everything. Consumer's happy and so will be their cash registers.

That would make them no different than about every other etailer out there.

Personally, I like the sales. I picked up a few titles at 50-60% off. That's better than 20-35%.

Everyone has a different choice. Making it an even 35% on everything would make it a fair deal to everyone out there !

Is the book sale still going on?
