I bought a $5.00 Tom & Jerry disc for my kid to get the free shipping. It applied the 20% and 10% coupon to it too. I wish I could have found something else but even with the discounts, I did not see anything that I felt was an excellent deal. I almost jumped on the Batman Begins HD-DVD disc for 14 bucks but still haven't decided what I am going to do in the HD war.

No no, it's done partly as a courtesy to you, so that you know how much you actually have "available."
It's also so that they can make sure the charge will actually reach a real account.
