This is meant to be just for books, but when I apply it, everything in my cart (Books, DVDs, CDs) gets 10% off!

I'm having some weird things happen with this. First it adjusted the prices on DVDs but then it didn't... but still showed a promotional discount subtracted from the total. But then I later got a message that said there is a problem with the discount and the items in my cart...could be risky.

The same thing crossed my mind. I'm not gonna try it on anything big. I had been looking at a couple cheap items, including two of the $1.58 titles, so I went ahead and got them and added the coupon to save a few more cents. I figure this way no matter what the outcome I'll be fine. My total was $6.66, I think the savings was 74 cents.

Take the chance, but i will tell you during the last 20% off sale they put the screws to me. I didnt realize codes were one time use. I placed a second order, discount showed when my card was charged in cart. But they charge me full price.

Same with me...I still have the receipt showing 20% off but I was charged full price. A bit illegal, but oh well.

You truly are a demon customer. I ordered one item that DDD had the best price on anyway, so I'm safe either way.

Not DVD related, but with the coupon, this puts their price for the final Harry Potter way below the next nearest competitor.

In terms of DVDs...I think I can hold out until July for the 20% sale, assuming it's still happening.

Unless it's acting differently only for me, I think we can say DDD fixed the "problem" with the 10% BookSale coupon working on DVDs and this "deal" is dead.

I was only going to order 2 cheap DVDs... I had both in my cart and the 10% was applied. I was about to click on proceed to checkout when my GF came in the room and insisted I stop using the computer instantly (because we all know that they come before computers and DVDs). By the time I got back to my cart this morning and clicked on checkout, the 10% discount went away and the coupon no longer worked. Fortunately they weren't titles I care much about it.

Whats the end date for this? I want to order some books, but I need to wait till payday.

Watch out if its like the 20% off code that was around when they changed from DDD to DD. I have had two seperate shipments and they never took anything off so far. I emailed them back then and they said they would take the amount off by the time the order was completed and If I felt I was overcharged to contact them then. One more item to go but I bet I have to contact them again.
