Hey all didnt see this in search so guess its not posted, but some HV have the 3 for $25 dvds for 3 for $20. They are the newest releases (Pirates of C.- Dead mans chest, gridiron gang, illusionist, departed, little miss sunshine etc) not the older titles. Iwent to 1 (of 3) local hollywood video and the dvds that are usually 3 for $25 are now 3 for $20!! The other deal was 4 for $10 on older/less popular titles.

I went to a closer Hollywood video (to find The Departed b/c the other HV didnt have it in stock) but they were not 3 for $20 instead the usual 3 for $25... so i left. I then went to a third and final HV that was a little further from me and they had all the title and also were 3 for $20!! So I picked up;

The Departed
Pirates of the Caribbean- DMC
Clerks II 2 Disc
(3 for $20.)

Once again YMMV (at least for me) & good luck

The HV web site lists 50% off for any PVDs $9.99 or under. Any in-store sightings?

The 50% off 9.99 or under was active at 2 stores I stopped at in Cranston RI over the weekend.

Didn't see any 3/$20 at that point, but I'll check again today.

I was at the closest Hollywood video Sunday and they had the 50% off on the under $10 but the newer ones were 3/$25. Seems like my store is always one of the YMMV ones.

There are few failed to launch dvds for $3.99 in nearby blockbusters. I saw 50% off (under $9.99 priced dvds) and 3 for $25 in neaby hollywood videos. YMMV.

My local Hollywood Videos have a $5 off any previously viewed DVDs. There were tons of older titles for .99 cents (I was able to pick up Red Eye, I Heart Huckabees, Thumbsucker, and a couple other movies for .99 cents). I got a couple others for 2.99.

Any info on Orange County,Ca Stores?

I swung by the Hollywood in Casselberry, FL last night and that the "3 for $25" going, as well as "50% off $9.99 and under". I picked up a couple cheapie titles for my wife, but nothing really amazing.

Does HV use their own packaging for used discs like Blockbuster does? Custom cases, discarding inserts, etc.?

Yeah, but they're not as bad as the Blockbuster cases. I usually don't even swap them out.

I actually haven't noticed custom cases at mine. And I bought "Little Miss Sunshine" and it came with an insert.

bump deals still active as of today at my local HV but the Prestige is never in stock!!

I actually stopped in at HV yesterday and was surprised, since I knew nothing about this sale. Ended up picking up The Prestige, The Guardian, and Babel for $20. Lots of stuff in the 4 for $10 rack too!

Picked up Blood Diamond and House of D (Robin Williams) for $10 even (Sacramento area HV).

Anyone know about when previously viewed new releases go on sale on Hollywood Video? For instance, when would something like 3:10 to Yuma be available?

The Prestige was at HV months ago...I didn't see many copies at the store I went to though.
