Southern New Englanders - Jarhead 2-Disc and Oldboy tin at Newbury Comics, Attleboro
Thread title pretty much says it all - I was at the Newbury Comics in Attleboro, MA, browsing today (actually bought some Bond DVDs), and saw that they had a new, sealed copy of the OOP Jarhead 2-disc set for $34.99, and two Oldboy tins, both new, for $29.99 a piece. I already have the Jarhead and I'm not interested in Oldboy, but for someone looking for these, it's probably a better deal than getting them on eBay or through an Amazon private seller. Enjoy!

Thanks. Been looking for that. I've learned my lesson when it comes to buying 2-disc special editions. That's why I'll be buying Blood Diamond: 2 disc version this Tuesday...instead of waiting for some sale or deal that will never happen.
Now if I could just find MST3K: The Movie somewhere...

Many thanks, Jesus! I was buying some shoes at Bob's today and swung by the store to check and grabbed myself an Oldboy tin. I checked the Borders up there a week ago and they had nothing, don't know why I didn't hit Newbury as well, as it definitely should have been my first choice. There were two copies, like you said, before I bought one.
Very handsome set, thanks again!

That's funny, I actually work near the Newbury over in Natick and I often takes weekend trips to either Shrewsbury or Marlboro looking for sets. The place is often my first choice over any other B&M store.
One of the reasons I prefer NC is that sets like these generally last awhile, among the other goodies that can be found. The Munich 2 Disc LE was still stocked at Natick until about a month ago (which is long after OOP). Natick still has a Jarhead 2 Disk but I don't know the price. That $36 sound about right though. They also still have an Oldboy tin as well. Unfortunately it is dented on the front side and has a minor scuff (though I can't tell if it's just the wrap or the tin itself.) Either way, the dent could be fixed up..

. I've decided to flip that around and get them all this year. So far so good!!! Toothface rules!!!Sorry to hear about the circumstances of the Prov location. Urban areas = more competition. Not fair. I think once the soccer moms bring their kids into Newbs out in the suburbs, they see the McFarlane figures with their guts hanging out and what not .. and run the other direction .. to Wally world or wherever. Better for me!!

I've never been to a Newbury Comics. I happen to be in downtown Boston right now on business, near the hockey arena. Anyone know if there is a location down here somewhere?
